Application:

  • Used in the Armour Grip Suspension and spacer unit
  • Armour Grip suspension with insert is designed to reduce the static and dynamic stresses at the conductor support point so that conductor is protected against the effect of wind induced motion and suspension inserts are made in various sizes to fit different conductor known as Moose, Bersimis, Zebra, Panther etc..
  • Spacers are designed to maintain bundled conductors at their design configuration and to accommodate the mechanical force and movements arising from transit phenomenon such as short circuit, Ice drop and wind loading with damage of functional impairment during the operating life of the transmission line.
